## This is a fitness product, not a medical device
Resistance breath training, also called inspiratory muscle training, is an established method used in sports conditioning and in pulmonary rehabilitation.
**Our product is a fitness product. It is not a medical device.** It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition, and it is not a substitute for prescribed treatment of sleep apnea, asthma, anemia, thyroid disease, or any other condition. Nothing sold on this website has been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.

## Safety and who should not use this product

Stop using the product and seek medical advice if you experience chest pain, dizziness that does not resolve, or any new or worsening shortness of breath. New or worsening breathlessness always needs a doctor rather than a device.
This product is intended for adults. Keep it out of reach of children. It is intended for use by one person only and should not be shared.

**We do not promise any specific outcome.** Where we describe what the product does, we describe how it works mechanically — it applies resistance to the muscles used in breathing — rather than promising a result it will produce for you.
Where evidence exists we cite it, and where it stops we say so. The age-related decline in respiratory muscle strength is well established, and training those muscles against resistance is well established. The link between respiratory muscle strength and how rested you feel is plausible and not proven.
